For the purpose of reuse, never disassemble and repair the following parts. Even in cases of a minor collision where the SRS does not deploy, the following parts should be inspected; * Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace with new parts. If the vehicle is equipped with a mobile communication system, refer to the precaution in the IN section of the Repair Manual. After work on the SRS is completed, check the SRS warning light. Information labels are attached to the periphery of the SRS components. Follow the instructions of the notice. * Use a volt/ohmmeter with high impedance (10 kΩ/V minimum) for troubleshooting electrical circuits of the system. However, it is not possible to make a record of these memory contents. So when the work is finished, it will be necessary to explain it to your customer, and ask the customer to adjust the features and reset the memory. * * * Work must be started more than 90 seconds after the power switch is pushed to the "OFF" position and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery. When the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery, the memory of the clock and audio system will be cleared. So before starting work, make a record of the contents in the audio memory system. * Steering wheel pad * Side airbag assembly * Front passenger airbag assembly * Curtain shield airbag assembly * Seat belt pretensioner * Center airbag sensor assembly * Front airbag sensor assembly * Rear airbag sensor assembly * Knee airbag assembly * Side airbag sensor assembly When work is finished, reset the audio systems as they were before and adjust the clock. Some vehicles have power tilt steering, power telescopic steering, power seat and power outside rear view mirror which are all equipped with memory function. * Before repair, remove the airbag sensor if shocks are likely to be applied to the sensor during repair. NOTICE : When inspecting or repairing the SRS, perform service in accordance with the following precautionary instructions and the procedure, and precautions in the Repair Manual applicable for the model year. Malfunction symptoms of the SRS are difficult to confirm, so the DTCs become the most important source of information when troubleshooting. When troubleshooting the SRS, always inspect the DTCs before disconnecting the battery. * * * (The SRS is equipped with a back-up power source so that if work is started within 90 seconds from disconnecting the negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may deploy.) To avoid erasing the memory in each system, never use a back-up power supply from outside the vehicle. * Do not expose the following parts directly to hot air or flame; A 25 A 26 Y-G Y-R Y Y-B 4 3 N52(A),T12(B),U12(C) Y Y-R Y-G 2 1 A Lower No. 2 Instrument Panel Airbag Assembly Lower No. 1 Instrument Panel Airbag Assembly Spiral Cable Sub-Assembly 1 2 Airbag Sensor Assembly N74 19 A A Y-B Y 2 P2- P2+ P- P+ IG2 21 A D- D+ D2- D2+ N14 DK- DK+ 10A AIR BAG 4A 50 2 (IG) B Y-B W-B W-B E2 E1 3 A 4 A PK+ PK- 10 1 2 Y Y-B Y Y Y Y-B A 6 A 5 A 7 A 8 A A 9 2 A 1 A 3 A 4 A 1 20 1 2 B 1 A 2 A P+ P- P2+ s1(A),s2(B) D+ D- D2+ D2- z2(B),z3(C) 2 C 1 C 2 B 1 B N30(A),z2(B),z3(C) Driver Side Squib Circuit (Horn Button Assembly) Knee Airbag PK+ PK- Knee Airbag DK+ DK- Instrument Panel Passenger Airbag without Door Assembly 2 A 28 A 30 W B W B 1 2 A U10 SRL+ SRL- SRL- SRL+ Side Airbag Sensor Assembly RH Side Airbag Sensor Assembly LH U17 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly RH BBL- BBL+ BCL+ BCL- BBL- BBL+ BBL- BBL+ U21 ICL+ ICL- ICL+ ICL- T17 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly LH SRR+ SRR- SRR- SRR+ T7 T20 BBR- BBR+ BCR+ BCR- BBR- BBR+ BBR- BBR+ T22 Front Airbag Sensor LH ICR- ICR+ ICR- ICR+ Airbag Sensor Assembly A 1 24 B 23 B 3 4 2 1 1 A18 +SL -SL 1 -SL -SR +SR 2 +SR -SR +SL Front Airbag Sensor RH A45 1 2 W B W B 27 A 29 2 1 Y-B Y C 6 C 5 Y Y-B 2 1 B 4 B 3 2 B Y R W 15 B 16 B Y-B Y 2 1 18 C 17 C 3 4 2 1 B Y R W 1 2 10 C 9 C Y Y-B 2 1 Rear Airbag Sensor RH N52(A),T12(B),U12(C) B P2- Rear Side Airbag Squib Circuit LH Rear Side Airbag Squib Circuit RH * 1 :w/ Rear Side Airbag (*1) (*1) (*1) (*1) Front Seat Airbag Assembly LH U25 PLR- PLR+ U6 PL- PL+ U9 d32 SFL+ SFL- SFL+ SFL- T26 Airbag Cut Off Switch Cylinder Sub-Assembly PRR- PRR+ c29 SFR- SFR+ SFR- SFR+ Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly LH 5 B 6 B T8 Y-B Y 1 2 1 2 Y-B Y Y-B Y PR- PR+ C 8 C 7 1 2 Y-B Y Y-B Y 2 1 B 1 B 2 1 Rear Seat 3 Point Type Belt Assembly Outer RH Rear Seat 3 Point Type Belt Assembly Outer LH 7 B 8 B Y Y-B 2 1 2 C 1 C C 3 4 C Y Y-B Y Y-B 2 1 2 1 Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH Pretensioner Front Seat Airbag Assembly RH * 4 :w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch * 3 :w/ Telematics Transceiver * 2 :w/ PASSENGER AIRBAG ON/OFF Indicator N90 PMC+ PMC- Y Y-B 1 2 12 A 11 A MSW+ MSW- 2 (*4) RL- RL+ Rear Airbag Sensor LH Pretensioner RR+ Pretensioner L- L+ R+ R- Pretensioner Airbag Sensor Assembly N52(A),T12(B),U12(C) * 9 :Before Sep. 2014 Production *10 :From Sep. 2014 Production * 5 :Before Sep. 2013 Production * 6 :From Sep. 2013 Production A 13 Multi-Media Module Receiver Assembly Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH CANH 3 1 4 2 LSP- LSP+ LBE- LBE+ C 15 C 23 C 16 C 24 G L Y-B Y (LHD) Y(RHD) Y(LHD) Main Body ECU W B W B A 24 A 18 GSW GSW 60 5A 48 4A 28 4A 60 4A 29 4A GSW3 GSW 24 Telematics Transceiver N86(A),N169(D) G Y Y-B Y A 23 A 17 56 4A 55 4A 35 4A 31 4A PAON P-AB AIR ARON N68(C),N164(J) 34 C 33 C (*3) (*3) (*2) (*2) (*2) (*2) LBE+ LBE- Buckle Switch U4 (LHD) Seat Position Airbag Sensor LSP+ LSP- (LHD) (LHD) 3 1 4 2 RSP- RSP+ RBE- RBE+ B 10 B 18 B 9 B 17 G R Y-B Y (RHD) RBE+ RBE- Buckle Switch T5 (RHD) Seat Position Airbag Sensor RSP+ RSP- (RHD) (RHD) (*4) Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH RR- Airbag Sensor Assembly N52(A),T12(B),U12(C) PASSENGER AIRBAG ON/OFF Indicator (*9) 22 A (*10) 24 D A 14 GSW2 B B 49 4A 26 4A 33 J (*6) 34 J (*5) A 22 CANL P 13 12 Y W G 1 G 2 A 1 A 2 E 1 E 2 (RHD) (RHD) (RHD) (RHD) (RHD) (RHD) 2 Junction Connector U50(C),U51(D) D 1 D 2 C C 1 W P W 18 W CANL C 26 17 G CANH C 13 G 1 Junction Connector F F 1 2 N120(F),N121(G) G 2 W(RHD) Y(RHD) W(RHD) Y(RHD) W(RHD) W(LHD) W (LHD) P (LHD) 1 E 2 E Y (LHD) W (LHD) Junction Connector N107(A),N111(E),N113(G) Junction Connector N107(A),N111(E), N112(F),N113(G) B (LHD) G (RHD) 2 G 1 G 1 A 2 A 1 F 2 F P W W V B W Y(LHD) Y(LHD) W(LHD) W(LHD) (LHD) (LHD) (LHD) (LHD) (LHD) (LHD) W B W (*8) ECM A20(A),A79(C),F70(D) B (LHD *8) W (LHD *8) W (RHD *8) B (RHD *8) 26 A (*7) 13 A (*8) 25 A CANN 12 A CANP 1 2 N130 Junction Connector R W W B B W (LHD) (LHD) (LHD *7) (LHD *7) (LHD) (LHD) 1 12 2 13 B B * 8 :2AR-FSE * 7 :2GR-FXE 48 49 61 D CAN+ G (*8) 62 D CAN- W E 1 E 2 G G 1 (RHD) (RHD) V W 20 CAN I/F CANH IG+ 21 B 29 B 28 B B B 1 2 (IG) V(LHD) Telltales LED Driver (LHD) (RHD) (RHD) W(LHD) W V W(LHD) V(LHD) 25 D 31 D 24 D 13 D 30 D ABFS CA1L CA1H CA3P CA3N 2 F F 1 2 W V A57 Junction Connector W 18 17 B B W(LHD) W(LHD) P(LHD) W(RHD) B(RHD) B(RHD) W(RHD) P(LHD) Junction Connector N119(E),N120(F),N121(G) CPU (RHD *7) (RHD *7) (RHD) 5 16 6 17 R(LHD) W(LHD) B(RHD) W(RHD) W(RHD) B(RHD) W(LHD) R(LHD) R(LHD) R(RHD) W(LHD) W(RHD) P(RHD) P(LHD) W(RHD) B B B N92(D) Power Management Control ECU 10A MPX-B 1 2 (BAT) 5D 32 5A 18 5V IC ES CANL B 22 B 30 B P P P W-B 5A GAUGE (LHD) 5V+B Combination Meter Assembly N40(B)
